Community Ties

Young Muslim Sisters Strive to not only teach the youth, but work together to create a better environment for the youth. In efforts of accomplishing this goal, YMS has done many things to give back to the community. Here are just some of our projects!

Sisters of YM within Teaneck, NJ constantly emphasize the importance of uniting the community for the greater good. In hopes of doing so, many mother-daughter, and family friendly events have been hosted in the past year! Speakers included the insightful Yasmin Mogahed, Wesam Shariff, Nouman Ali Khan, and even Dr. Altaf Hussain. In each of these events, YM Sisters were able to present the community with intellectual nights and great fun!

Salam. Nice website. I think it’s better than the social websites like Facebook n twitter so people who don’t have them can still stay up to date. I just had one suggestion. Maybe you can delete pictures of the girls. They are still visible to all so it may not be appropriate. If not can you please remove my sister and cousins picture from the community ties page. It’s the first picture. JazakAllahu Khairan.

Jazkallah khairun for your feedback, we definitely will remove the picture as soon as possible. However, in the future, we want all girls to know if we take your picture, it may be displayed on our website! The pics help us capture important moments and showcase events!
