Laylat al-Qadr

Assalamu Alaikum!

With the last ten days of Ramadan approaching, it’s important that we all up our ibadat! Because on one of these days will fall a night that’s said about in the Quran:

“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.”

A thousand months?!! That’s a lifetime (literally) – 83 years! So, simply putting it, if your ibadat is accepted on this night, you’re pretty much going to Jannah! So what can you do to make the most of these upcoming last ten days? Here are a few tips:

  • Make your tahajjud prayers longer.
  • Read some Quran and reflect on its meaning.
  • Duas, duas, duas! Make your own personal list!
  • Go pray taraweeh at your local masjid (for a lot of you, that’s Dar-ul-Islah)
  • And last but not least, evaluate yourself. Ask yourself, are my intentions right? How much effort have I put into this Ramadan? Am I being respectful to my family members?

I hope these tips were helpful to you gals! Although I only gave a few, there are many other things you could do. Have a great rest of Ramadan, keep up the ibadat, and I hope to see you all soon iA!

PS- I had a great girls (iftaar) night out with you all at Pizza Time! Leave a comment below if you did too!
